American Culture Final Thoughts

In he American culture class, we discussed lots of different topics. First, I really admire American heroes. Those heroes who I have seen on the movies were fascinating. They encourage me a lot. Spiderman teaches me that the importance of listening to our conscience. Batman teaches me keep going even when the going is very tough. Second, I also like Billy Holiday and Norah Jones. When I drove the car, I have heard their songs on the radio but that time I even didn’t know who they were. Fortunately, I could read their life story and could listen to their music again. Third interesting topic for me is art. I really enjoyed Ansel Adams’ works. He is landscape photographer in twentieth century. He made up photography into a recognized shape of art. That was amazing. I really like learning those topics with my classmates. My classmates and I are from different countries. We have different point of view on those topics but we really enjoyed discussing them together. Additionally, we have a greatest teacher Louise.

The American class has various aspects of American society. I learned many academic terms in different subjects such as art, music, business, etc. Those terms are helpful for academic reading. Most interesting topic for me is business while I really do not like politics. I also learned writing structure. I used the structure to write those subjects and posted them on the blog to share with my classmates. Honestly, I do not like the blog, but I learned numerous useful academic materials in this class.
