Twentieth Century Ameerican Art

On Friday class, we learned about three famous American artists in 20 century. We enjoyed their terrific art works and discussed their biographies. Louise Nevelson was a sculptor. She used wood to create her art sculptures and also refreshed the art appearance for American women. Second, Ansel Adams was a landscape photographer who made up photography into a recognized shape of art. Finally, we talked about Jackson Pollack who was an Abstract Expressionist. His art style was throwing paint on a canvas. It was really unique and amazing. Those artists are still well-known until today. We were really happy to learn some American arts from them.
